Forex Trading Sessions
Three daily windows where most of the Forex volume happens — and where FXBias generates a bias before each one opens.
00:00–09:00 UTC
Asia Session
Tokyo, Sydney and Singapore drive the early hours. Lower volatility than London but high-impact yen and AUD news can trigger sharp moves.
Briefing fires at 23:30 UTC (prev. day, Mon–Thu) / Sunday 21:30 UTC (US summer time) / 22:30 UTC (winter)
08:00–17:00 UTC in winter, 07:00–16:00 UTC on summer time
London Session
The most liquid session — London accounts for ~35% of global Forex volume. Best for EUR and GBP pairs. Overlap with Asia early, with New York from the US open.
Briefing fires at 07:30 UTC in winter, 06:30 UTC on summer time
13:00–22:00 UTC in winter, 12:00–21:00 UTC on summer time
New York Session
US data drops (NFP, CPI, FOMC) shake the market. The four-hour overlap with London, from the US open until London closes, is the most active window of the day.
Briefing fires at 12:30 UTC in winter, 11:30 UTC on summer time
