Who we are

FXBias operates the website at fxbias.com and the email briefings sent from it. For any privacy question or request, contact support@fxbias.com.

What we collect

• Account information. Your email address and, if you sign in with a social provider, the basic profile details that provider shares. Authentication is handled by Clerk; we do not store your password.
• Product data. The pairs you follow, your session preferences, the directional votes you cast, your badges and leaderboard position.
• Payment information. If you subscribe, payment is processed by PayPal. We receive a subscription or transaction identifier and your plan status. We never see or store your card details.
• Usage analytics. Pages viewed, clicks, approximate location derived from IP, browser and device type. Collected via PostHog.
• Push subscriptions. If you enable browser notifications, the subscription endpoint issued by your browser.

Why we use it

• To provide the service — generating and delivering the briefings you follow.
• To operate accounts, subscriptions and billing.
• To send the emails and notifications you have opted into.
• To understand how the product is used so we can improve it.
• To detect abuse and keep the service secure.

Who processes data on our behalf

We use the following providers. Each processes data only to deliver its part of the service:

• Clerk — authentication and account management
• Convex — application database
• Vercel — website hosting and delivery
• PayPal — payment processing (independent controller of your payment data)
• PostHog — product analytics
• Resend — sending email briefings
• Anthropic — generating the written narrative of briefings (no personal data is sent)

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies that are necessary to keep you signed in, and analytics cookies to measure how the product is used. We do not run third-party advertising cookies on the site. You can block cookies in your browser, though sign-in will not work without the necessary ones.

How long we keep it

Account and product data is kept while your account exists. If you delete your account we remove your personal data, except records we must retain for legal, tax or accounting purposes (for example, payment records). Analytics data is retained in aggregate.

Your rights

You can request access to the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to certain processing. Depending on where you live you may also have the right to data portability or to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. To exercise any of these, email support@fxbias.com from the address on your account and we will respond within a reasonable period.

You can unsubscribe from briefing emails at any time from your settings page or via the unsubscribe link in any email, and you can turn off push notifications in your browser.

Children

FXBias is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact support@fxbias.com and we will remove it.

International transfers

Our providers may process data in countries other than yours, including the United States. Where required, transfers are covered by the safeguards those providers offer, such as standard contractual clauses.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify account holders by email.
